Meet David

I’m David Repair, founder of Plumb Line Design. Before starting PLD, I worked as an electrical engineer with a primary focus on lighting design.


Because my background spans both design and engineering, I can have meaningful conversations with architects about design intent and with engineers about load calculations.

Why "Plumb Line"?

In construction, a plumb line is used to test the straightness of a wall. If the wall is warped or off angle, the wall is not secure and will be easily toppled.


Isaiah 28:17 says that “righteousness will be the plumb line”, meaning that God will test His people to make sure their conduct is upright.
